AICleanerMax Privacy Policy
AICleanerMax helps you manage storage, files, apps and notifications on your Android device. This policy explains what information we process, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. Please read it before using the app. The information involved depends on the tools you use, the permissions you grant and the services available to you.
1. Information we process
Files and media. We read file names, paths, types, sizes and dates to identify unwanted files, organize storage and help you choose what to delete. Media tools also read details such as duration, display previews and compare image content to find duplicates. These scans and comparisons take place on your device, within the access allowed by Android.
Installed apps. We read app names, package names, icons, sizes, installation times and, with Usage Access, available storage statistics and last-used times. We use this information locally to display app lists, help you select apps for uninstalling, manage notification exceptions and open Android's app, process and permission controls. Advertising services may separately process available app information as described in Section 3.
Device and connection information. We use storage and memory totals, battery level, temperature, voltage and health information for status displays and reminders. Network type, available Wi-Fi information, connection quality and traffic measurements support network tools. Online services also process technical details such as device model, operating-system and app versions, language, country and time zone.
Notifications. With Notification Access, we read the sending app, title, message text, icon, identifier and posting time to organize and dismiss eligible notifications. This can include sensitive message content. Notification cleaning starts enabled when you grant access; you can turn it off or exclude apps in the cleaner settings. Ongoing and non-clearable notifications are excluded. Captured notifications are kept only while the app is open, and your settings and exceptions are saved on the device. Dismissing a notification leaves the original message in its app.
Usage and diagnostic information. We collect screen visits, feature interactions, choices, session information, time since first use, permission states, file counts and selected or cleaned byte totals, and network-test results. Error reports may contain crash logs, stack traces, recent app actions, device details and session or installation identifiers. We use this information to understand usage, investigate technical problems and improve reliability. Usage reports do not include the contents of files selected for cleaning.
Identifiers and connection data. Online services use app-instance and installation identifiers, messaging tokens and IP addresses. An advertising ID may also be collected when available. Analytics may use IP information to estimate your approximate location. These identifiers help deliver messages, provide settings, measure app use and support the advertising services described below.
Information you choose to share. If you contact customer support, we use the feedback and contact details you provide to understand your request, address questions or technical issues and respond to you. Please share only information relevant to your inquiry.
2. How information supports the app
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand feature usage, Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose errors, Firebase Remote Config to deliver app settings, and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send messages and reminders. Google receives the usage, diagnostic, device and identifier information needed for these services. Analytics, diagnostics, configuration and messaging operate independently of advertising.
Permissions help us provide the tools you choose. Storage access supports file management, Usage Access supports app statistics, and Notification Access supports notification cleaning. Notification permission lets AICleanerMax display its own reminders. Background activity and, where permitted, a battery-optimization exemption help deliver reminders and perform scheduled checks. If you decline or revoke access, the related features may be limited.
When you start a network test, we download test data from Cloudflare, contact a Google endpoint to measure connection timing and read network traffic counters. Those providers receive connection information, including your IP address. Tests measure network performance and consume internet data, which may use your mobile allowance.
3. Advertising and information sharing
AICleanerMax may show full-screen and native ads through Google AdMob, TopOn (ThinkUp) and their advertising partners when advertising services are enabled. We use advertising information to serve ads, measure their performance, diagnose errors and prevent fraud or abuse.
Advertising providers may process your IP address, device and network information, available identifiers such as advertising ID or app-set ID, and app interactions. TopOn may also process installed-app information where available. Ad requests and reports include placement and ad-unit identifiers, format, network, views, clicks, closes, errors, revenue and currency. Data use depends on the service, Android restrictions and applicable privacy choices; personalized advertising is subject to the choices and consent requirements that apply to you.
When attribution services are enabled, we use Singular to measure app installations, campaigns and advertising revenue. Information shared for this purpose includes ad platform, network, format, placement, ad-unit identifiers, revenue and currency. An FCM token may be shared for uninstall measurement. This helps us understand how people discover the app and assess campaign performance.
We share service information with Google, Cloudflare and, when used, Singular and advertising partners for the purposes described above. We do not sell or rent the personal files, captured notification content or app lists processed by our local tools, or provide them to third parties as marketing lists. Advertising and campaign measurement use the separate service information described in this section. Providers may process information in other countries, subject to applicable data-protection requirements and their service terms.
We may disclose information with your consent, to comply with applicable law or a lawful request from a government or public authority, or to protect or defend our legal rights. Such disclosures are limited to what is necessary and permitted for the relevant purpose. We seek your consent where it is required for other sharing.
Third-party services handle information under their own privacy policies and security terms. Please review the Firebase privacy and security information, the Google Privacy Policy and the Cloudflare Privacy Policy, as well as the notices provided by TopOn, Singular and any advertising partners whose services you use.
4. Keeping information secure
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, loss and disclosure. These include Android access controls for local information and encrypted HTTPS connections used by Firebase services. We use diagnostic logs to investigate errors and support reliable operation. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Retention and deletion
We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes in this policy, including providing the app, improving reliability, supporting messages and measuring advertising where used. When you stop using AICleanerMax or information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify information that no longer serves these purposes, unless continued retention is required by law.
You can remove app-specific local data, including saved settings, notification exceptions and activity counters, by clearing app storage or uninstalling AICleanerMax through Android. Captured notification content is removed when you clear the list or close the app. Shared files on your device and original messages in other apps remain separate from this app-specific data.
Uninstalling removes local app data; information already received by service providers is retained and deleted according to the relevant service's purposes, retention settings and deletion procedures. You may request deletion of your personal information as explained in Section 8.
Cleaning the files you select can permanently delete them. Please review your selections and keep backups of important files before confirming deletion. Removing AICleanerMax or clearing its settings will not restore files you have deleted.
6. Your privacy choices
You can manage storage access, Usage Access, Notification Access and visible notifications in Android Settings. In the notification cleaner, you can turn cleaning off and choose app exceptions. You can also clear local app data or stop using and uninstall AICleanerMax. Analytics supports app operation, reliability and improvement. You can manage the related Android permissions and advertising controls described here, clear local app data, or uninstall AICleanerMax.
Use Android's advertising-ID controls where available, and any consent or privacy options presented by advertising services. These choices apply to the relevant identifier or service. Where processing requires your consent, we will seek it for that purpose, and you may withdraw it as permitted by applicable law.
7. Children
AICleanerMax is intended for people aged 13 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it in accordance with applicable law. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided personal information can contact us using the contact options below.
8. Questions, rights and policy updates
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, obtain a copy, restrict or object to processing, or withdraw consent. Please contact us about privacy questions or to exercise these rights. You may also raise a concern with the appropriate data-protection authority.
If you have feedback, please contact customer support by email or use the Feedback feature in the app.
We may update this policy as the app or our information practices change. The Last updated date shows when the text was revised. We will provide notice of material changes in the app and seek any additional consent required by law. Please review this policy periodically.
